We are doing wonderful this 29th day of November 2009. Since the last time I was here Kaitlyn has turned 4! She had an awesome Birthday party here at our home. Daddy made Chicken wings and we watched some football, Nana and Grandpa came and we had a huge cake, tons of helium filled balloons in the house and the kids wore their Halloween costumes. Oh yea Halloween was cool too, we went to NaNa and Grandpa's and trick or treated till Kaitlyn was passed out. We had fun Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa Smith and HeHe, and now we are coming up on Christmas already. We did some really cute Christmas pictures too, the girls were little hams!!! So here are some pictures for you to enjoy and we hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. Love to all xoxoxoxo

Kindergaten and loose teeth!

Rilae Maddison started Kindergarten and on the third day she got an award for "Miss Manners"
She had a substitute teacher last week who informed me when i picked her up that she is "Just a perfect little blessing from heaven!"
So besides doing great in school she lost her first tooth and now the one next to it is on it's way out!!! I can't believe how much she has grown and how little time seems to have past.
Well here's a toast to new adventures!!!!!

The daddy of the puppies

I finally got a picture of the puppies daddy. He is huge I forgot how big he was and now I know why the babies are so big LOL

So we are getting ready for yet another chapter in the Roy Family Book. I go to school again starting tomorrow. Two more semesters and I will have my Associates degree in Criminal Justice! 6 classes this semester and 5 next semester and it'll be over!!! A WOOOO HOOOOO!!!
Just tell the Govt. to help police departments be able to hire more!! I think we could use more Cops than cars!!! Bail out the Police not the car co.'s!!! Oh well.........
Rilae started Kindergarten! She is in her second week and has already received an award for using her manners(the only one in class who got one!) and a good citizenship ticket for helping in class!! Way to go baby girl!! We are so proud of you!!!!!!!! Kaity gets tired after waking early to take Rilae to school!
Kaitlyn and Mommy are getting to spend some much needed alone time where I really get to know her better. She is so different without big "yister" around telling her what's up. I had no idea she knew so many colors and shapes! I love hearing her yell "octa-don" every and I mean every time we pass a stop sign. ( There are a lot of STOP signs in this town!!)
David is still working hard and supporting his girls, Barb,Rilae,Kaitlyn,Bailey and HAZLE!!!!!
Yes we added another girl to the house. All of Bailey's babies got new and wonderful homes. We kept the 3rd born little girl that I had to bottle feed for the first few days because she wasn't aggressive enough at first to get her own NIP.
She is all kinds of fun, likes to go swimming in the backyard pool, plays fetch, is learning to sit and lay down. She is even learning with help from her mom and a stuffed scented GOOSE how to bring a downed bird without hurting it!!!
She loves to sleep but I think I screwed up by letting her cuddle on the couch with me.Now she thinks she owns the couch! Oops!
Oh well look for more updates but it might be a while!!!!!
Love to all :x

Police Academy Graduation

I finally did it! It was a long 7 months but it feels great to be done. I graduated from the Pikes Peak Regional Law Enforcement Academy. On Monday August 3rd I took the Colorado P.O.S.T exam and I passed, we haven't gotten our total grade yet but I know I passed. So now I have to get a job. I am looking at Teller County Sheriff's Department and I would love to go work there. I would also like to work for Fountain CO Police Department. So everyone keep me in your prayers that things will go well and I will have a job very soon. This is a picture of me and my little brother Jeff. Who also graduated the academy! He plans on going into the Marines, so keep him in your prayers too.

Avon 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer

Hello all,
This past weekend David and I, the girls and Uncle Shawn went to see NANA(Veronica) walk in the Avon 2 day Walk for Breast Cancer. It was AWESOME!!! NaNa walked along with a couple friends from church. They all did a great job and made a wonderful journey all the way from Keystone, CO to Breckenridge, CO for a total of 39.3 miles!!!!! Up hills, down hills, in the HOT sun and in the cool breeze with the beautiful Colorado mountains in the background! Over 2.6 MILLION Dollars were raised to fight and prevent breast cancer! Way to go NANA and all the other wonderful women and men that gave thier weekend to fight breast cancer!

Seeing all those people walk so far was such an inspiration!!!!
WAY TO SAVE SECOND BASE EVERYONE!

We are enjoying our summer immensely! The puppies are growing and growing, Rilae and Kaitlyn seem to be doing the same. Rilae is reading and is so excited to go to kindergarten in August! Kaitlyn is learning her letters and will be going to pre-school. Yesterday was Father's day and we had a wonderful time at NANA (Veronica) and Grandpa's house. The girls played in the sprinkler and we played with popping fireworks and streamer shooters. We got to eat great food, steak and lobster tail! Perfect for Father's who need a re charging!
We have been swimming with our cousins Kacie and Karah and thier mommy Mandie, that's been awesome. The girls are having so much fun jumpimg into the pool and going under water! Thanks to Aunt Mary and Aunty Michelle for taking the girls to swim lessons! They learned so much.
Graduation for Barb is getting closer and closer. The nerves are starting to rise but so is the excitement! I've been putting in applications and I'm realy hoping for one agency in particular so every prayer said would be greatly appreciated!!
That's all for now happy blogging everyone!

The girls are back from TX! I'm soooo happy to have them home! Although I think I forgot how loud they are. They love to make noise! Their first day back we just did the necessary stuff like go grocery shopping(the picture to the left..) and put away clothes. Thanks to Aunt Mary and to NANA for getting all that laundry done before they got home! I so appreciate it!
While in El Paso the girls went to gymnastics lessons and swim lessons, they played and rode bikes with their cousin Alana. They even got to be there when their new Cousin Davis Daniel Horton was born! He came 7 weeks early at only 33 weeks, but he's doing well and off the vent...getting stronger! They got to see their other cousins Emily and Will. I can't wait to get some photos on here of all the fun they had. Last but certainly not least, they went to Princess Camp and every day for a week they got to dress up like their favorite princesses and play at the gym. They had a wonderful time and I'm sure I have tons of stories yet to hear. Look for more updates soon!
Love the Roys :D

SO Bailey had her puppies on the fifth of June they are too cute. Six boys and three girls, that's NINE total pups. We went from having one dog to having TEN dogs in one day! They are so much work already, Bailey does not like to clean them up so we have to wash their poo off and wash a lot of towels. But she is feeding them and cuddling with them and I think she is getting the hang of things. I think there are only 8 in the picture.

Our Dog Bailey is going to have puppies!! We're excited but nervous too hopefully they won't come until the girls get back!

The One and Only Roys!!

We are the Roy's and we are having the time of our lives lately! Barb's in school at Pikes Peak Regional Law Enforecment Academy and David's busy working and gardening in his off time. Rilae and Kaitlyn are in El Paso, TX from now until June 13th. They are with Aunt Mary, Aunty Michelle, Uncle John and their favorite person Alana Horton! They were so excited for this trip and so far they've only been there for a day and they are extatic! Swiming, playing and eating ice cream!
Barb just started tactical driving in school and so far I love it! So much fun to actually get to drive fast and skid and slide in the car and that's what your supposed to do!!!! Even the knocking over cones is kinda fun and your not really supposed to do that!
David is still working everyday and taking care of the kido's at night, he has a great gardening thing going with the girls. They have planted tomatoes, strawberries (Kaitlyn eats them before they even get a chance to grow!) they even have cucumber, watermelon, and all kinds of peppers. The girls love to garden and they get to spend all kinds of time with Daddy making tons of memories.

So that's what's going on this summer so far....we'll keep everyone posted.

As for after summer our plans so far are Barb's graduation from the Academy on Aug. 1st and passing the post exam, hopefully finding a job soon after. Rilae will start KINDERGARDEN!!!! on Aug. 10th and Kaitlyn will be going to pre-school too. David is being super supportive and i can't wait to find a great way to make it all up to him and really treat him to something special. Our anniversary is coming up October 4th and this will be SIX years! It's awesome to be with someone for so long and to have that much love in your life. We have had our ups and downs and right now we're on a high plateau. Hopefully it stays that way.
